•  Physically fit, highly reliable, have excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, work well under pressure.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and Enhanced Security Clearance.
• BC Security License is a must

Under the direction of the Operational Management, the commissionaire will follow established post orders indicative to the site, location or to contract you are assigned.

Commissionaires BC is an active participant in the Lone Worker Program for all employees working alone.

Confidentiality is a must, along with providing superior customer service, security, and protection to clients and the client’s property and assets

• ensuring client property is secure in accordance with post orders
• completing daily logs and written reports as necessary
• patrolling site and securing premises as required by site post orders.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• BC Security License is a must
• Basic Standards Training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to walk large areas, sit or stand for extended periods of time, indoors and out.
• Strong attention to detail
• Leadership skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Must be ethical
• Must be able to commit to assigned shifts
