Commissionaire Dave Ward at Forgotten Indigenous War Veterans and Today’s Heroes Event

Commissionaire David Ward was one of several veterans who attended the opening of the exhibition “Forgotten Indigenous War Veterans and Today’s Heroes” at the Chinese Canadian Military Museum on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Dave spoke with the Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of Canada; and the Honourable Harjit Sajjan, Minister of National Defence. The exhibition is an example of the strong relationship that has existed between Indigenous and Chinese Canadian veterans for many years.

Commander (retired) King Wan, CD, who is a member of the Commissionaires BC Board of Governors, is also President of the Board of Directors of the Chinese Canadian Military Museum Society.
