Commissionaires Sponsors United Home Force Night

Commissionaires BC was very proud to support BC military families through sponsoring the United Home Force night on Nov 6, 2015. The Vancouver Giants played the Kamloops Blazers in camouflage jerseys featuring the Commissionaires’ logo on the shoulders. Proceeds from the game went to the Military Family Resource Centre who provide support, training, and resources to military families throughout BC.

Commissionaires BC Awards Five Bursaries to Post Secondary Students

As part of its veterans and community support program, Commissionaires recently awarded five bursaries, of either $2,000.00 or $1,000.00, to post-secondary students from BC. The presentations were made on September 26th, 2015 at the Metropolitan Hotel in downtown Vancouver. “Overall about 38 students applied for the bursaries, and our selection committee had a tough time deciding on the winners for this year,” said Dan Popowich, CEO. CEO Dan Popowich Presented with Ron Minion Award

This year marks ASIS International’s 61st Annual Seminar Exhibits in Anaheim, CA. In attendance was CEO Dan Popowich, which turned out to be particularly memorable for him, as he was presented with the Ron Minion Award.
