Honouring the Memory of Those Who Served

To mark the 100th anniversary of the First World War and the Battle of Vimy Ridge on April 9, 2017, commemorative events will be held at the Canadian National Vimy Memorial in France and the National War Memorial in Ottawa. Newton BIA Safety Patrol Featured in CBC News

Our Newton BIA Safety Patrol team is working hard to create a visible presence in the Newton area, deal with homelessness and shoplifting, and looks for services for people who are vulnerable in the community. The crime prevention program is due for renewal in the new year. Surrey council is reviewing whether the program has been successful in Newton. For the full article, click here.
